Ever since high school I've loved running at night. In the summertime, I would run in the morning and late at night. It was always still humid, but I loved the cool breeze. Some of my favorite memories in college were easy late night runs with my roommate and best friend, Aaron. My run tonight made me remember some of those runs. So, after having to stay a little late at work, I put on my Brooks Adrenaline's and took the first step and hit up Mid-County Highway and Shady Grove road for 8 miles. It was humid, but I loved it. I'm getting back into the groove and I might even be ready for a Fourth of July race, but I'll see. Looking forward to some redemption at the Rockville Twilighter in mid- July. One day at time. Be patient.
