Solid Ten +

I met up with Mark and Chris today at Needwood for another picture perfect running day. We cruised down the path catching up and running a nice pace. Chris and Mark cranked it up a notch before the turn around and gapped me. They were probably clipping off 5:45s on the way back. I kept it at marathon pace on the way back (6:10) or so. Solid run and felt strong. Although my instincts wanted me to go with them - I'm trying to refrain from making distance runs into tempos. We are meeting up again on Thursday, so that should be yet another good run with two great guys.

I'm looking at going 18 or so on Sunday. July racing is just around the corner. It's going to be a blast!
